Columbia Icefields

JASPER, Alberta – Don’t miss the opportunity to see the one of Jasper’s main attractions, the Columbia Icefields. Sundog Tours offers sightseeing excursions along the Canada’s most scenic highway, the Icefield Parkway, on a guided tour of the Canadian Rockies wilderness.

The tour follows the scenic Icefield Parkway and stops at sightseeing attractions including the Athabasca and Sunwapta Falls. Sundog Tour guides will pause at scenic overlooks for picture opportunities before reaching the grand finale. Once you arrive at the Columbia Icefields, you have the chance to take a ride in a Snocoach on the Athabasca Glacier.

The price of Sundog’s Tour does not include the Snocoach Tour, but does leave plenty of time to take the tour before returning to Jasper. Wildlife sightings are common and include bighorn sheep, mountain goats, moose, and occasionally even the king of the Canadian Rockies wilderness, grizzly bears.
